Tip: what to take on your business trip?
Whether you take regular or occasional, business trips you need to pack carefully. If you're going to give a product presentation, attend a customer meeting or take part in a trade fair, make sure you're well-prepared before you go. Worried you'll forget something? Here are Nemea Appart Hotel's top tips for what to bring on a business trip.
What to take on your trip?
Generally speaking, a business trip can last a few days, so you'll need to bring enough with you to cover the time. Ideally you want to pack a suitcase that's useful and as light as possible but includes your personal belongings and everything you need for work too. To limit the amount of unnecessary business items, choose accommodation from our residences for business trips. Well-equipped appart'hotels mean you don't have to carry unnecessary baggage. Residences with laundry facilities, for example, can considerably lighten your suitcase by reducing the number of changes you need to bring. Bed linen and towels are provided, so you don't have to worry about those. Basic checklist:
- Work clothes (suit, shirt, etc.)
- Casual clothes
- Pyjamas
- Toothbrush, etc.
Don't forget what you need for your business meeting
To ensure that your business meeting goes as smoothly as possible, here are a few things to consider bringing.
- Laptop + USB key (remember to save your presentation in the Cloud so you're prepared for anything)
- Business phone
- Handouts
- Travel tickets
- Details of your local contacts
- Business cards
- Notepad and pencil (yes, it sounds obvious, but it's always good to have a reminder)
Before you leave, review the requirements of your appointment with your line manager or team. Don't forget to take your wallet with your business and/or personal cards/cash and your ID.
